Principals
Robert E. Comet Jr., AIA, LEED

As president of BCWH, Rob has led projects for schools and churches, as well as the renovation and expansion of the Virginia capitol and the Richmond Jewish Community Center. Rob's clients appreciate his tremendous expertise in performing preplanning and feasibility studies, as well as his extensive experience in renovation design.

Charles D. Piper, AIA, REFP, LEED

Charles D. Piper, AIA Charles leads the firm's practice in the higher education market where we are actively serving projects in planning and design at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. Other recent higher education clients include Bridgewater College and The William and Mary School of Business. Charles' projects have been consistently recognized for excellence in design by professional organizations of both architects and educators. These projects include the renovation of the Maggie L. Walker Governor's School, the Richmond Ballet, Greenwood Elementary School and the Henrico Specialty Center for the Arts Auditorium. In addition, he leads in the management and design of educational projects for a number of important school district clients, and frequently provides master planning and architectural services for mainline, evangelical and contemporary church clients.

Roger D. Richardson, AIA, REFP

Since 1975, Roger has dedicated his practice to school design, focusing on new and renovated public K-12 facilities. Roger has unparalleled experience in the analysis, planning, design and delivery of educational facilities, working with more than 15 Virginia localities to meet the physical needs of K-12 academic communities. Most recently, he has brought his expertise to bear for new high schools in Powhatan and Chesterfield.

Charles W. Wray, Jr., AIA

Chuck's principal-in-charge responsibilities include managing a variety of educational, municipal, and corporate projects. He is presently involved in the rehabilitation and expansion of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Staunton as well as several projects at Christchurch School in Middlesex County. In addition, he is responsible for managing BCWH's project processes and is heavily involved in developing our talented staff.
