Waynesboro Library Renovation
The existing library, originally constructed in 1969, is 28,000 sq. ft. including lower level meeting rooms and a children's program area. BCWH and Tappe Associates have been hired to renovate this library. The renovation will accommodate a program and activities area for children including an office area for staff and a storage area for program supplies. A large room for local history/genealogy, smooth traffic flow for patrons and staff, easy Access, flexible space, quiet study areas, computer terminals and a reference area. It will also include a reading area close to the front door with sufficient seating where patrons can read the daily newspapers and magazines, coffee stand and small gift shop.
